Environmental pollution is one of the most important problems that modern man has faced with serious challenges. This issue is important because life-threatening symptoms have been revealed and the current and future generations are facing threats due to widespread environmental pollution. On the other hand, humans will not be able to continue their natural life without a safe and healthy environment. For this reason, preserving the environment and keeping it healthy, as one of the most important basic needs for the continuation of life, has received the attention and care of everyone.The green industry is looking for a way to reduce the negative effect of chemicals on the environment by preventing pollution at the source and using less natural resources. The goal of the green industry approach is to design products and processes that minimize the use and production of hazardous substances. In this regard, Tarbiat Modares University is proud to host the "Second National and First International Conference on Environmental Challenges: Green Industry and Mining" on May 14 and 15, 2024. Along with this conference, educational workshops, exhibitions and specialized meetings will also be held. In this regard, all professors, students, researchers, experts and interested people are cordially invited to send their articles and valuable research.
